Boring Everyday

Still there's nothing much else in my life than Tarmo, kitties and The Thesis. Oh yeah, and taekwondo and gym. And all of those are in order :)

I still have deficiency of Tarmo and I love spending my time with him. I seek the warmth of his hugs all the time and I spend a lot just having company of him. I play with our kitties and build nests to them (see the cat blog I made, though it's in Finnish, but you can at least see the pics ^^), go to the gym, and love taekwondo more and more every time. I even won a challenge in there! Though no-one knew that there was a competition going on but even still, I WON! HA! It felt so good :) I've learned something! The point was that I made "the most pure" movements. I did mistakes, noticed a lot of them and corrected my moves and even got corrected by our teacher. But as they said, I concentrated a lot and my moves were in balance. And I really did concentrate, I was short of breath and sweaty after the poomsae, even though it really isn't that hard :D

I did nothing last week and this week I got half of my Thesis back from the first correction round, been doing that and been fixing some things for the internship I'm doing in May. And that's that. I've played role playing games too (once, finally).

And honestly, that's my life.

I've been missing a bit Iowa City. When I see pictures of familiar streets and people, I miss them. I miss especially the summer time there. Everything was new and exciting, I didn't miss Tarmo so badly and things were better than later (I mean the death, water damage etc). I partied and went to all events and didn't worry about school. But all fun ends in good time. But I MISS YOU GUYS! <3

I hope to get the corrections done by Eastern Holidays so that I can read and relax. Then I need to read for one exam, then I write The Thesis (and try to finish it), go to the seminar, do the internship and at the same time read for the final exam. And that's it.

I want to move! I dream of the bigger apartment (I hope so much that we get the student apartment!) and decorating it. I already found the first thing I'm going to buy when I get my first pay check:

I love it! And I know our kitties will love it too ^^ Me wanna!

Baby is (are) Back

So, I'm back in here.

I've gotten myself in order, no more waking up at 2 am, no rash and I have been doing few things for my future too! Life in Finland is easy. I don't feel weird, I love being back home. We got our babies back yesterday too and I love the feeling when someone comes and wipes his/hers tail against my leg ^^ Though they've grown up so much!
I'm having tomorrow my welcome back party, my friends arranget everything and it feels so weird because I don't know what's been planned and what should I do...

But as I'm not in the mood for writing much today, I'll just briefly tell what's going on.
I'm writing an essay for one course I couldn't do before but which I need to do for my degree. After that's done I'll return for my results and try to make some kind of picture of my work in my head and after that I'll start writing. I also should go to nurse to get last of my hepatite vaccination done, get my courses from Iowa in my degree and send some flights to insurance company. My first course is beginning only next month so I have some time to do all these little things though I've planned to get my Introduction mostly done by the time the course begins. Luckily it's only two weeks and labs, after that I'll return to writing and I should get my thesis done as soon as possible, as I need to do two book exams after that (one is exam about the literature I used and one is THE final examination in cell biology). I'll have my other course on April-May I think and I hope that by that time my thesis would be quite ready as I'm having the seminar course and I need to give a representation of my work by then. And after that I should find a place to do a short internship so that I could get all the needed courses for my degree and then I'd be kind of ready!

And the reason for horrying things up is that I'm moving to Kuopio with Tarmo next Summer!!! I GOT THE PLACE! I mean in the research group and I'll start as soon as I'm done in here. I'm quite happy ^^ They promised that there would be a place for me for the next 4-5 years!
And as Tarmo is graduating too, there's no problem moving away. And he has his things almost in order too...

But as I finally updated my stuff in here, I can go sleeping soon...

Oh how I love having our kitties back!!!

Something's in the Air

I'm just goofing around my two blogs, and write every other day to the other so that I don't seem to be so bored, muaha!

Now our house is clean, I even washed the floor! Laundry is still drying and I can't pack my bags ready until I get all my clothes from there (well, one skirt). Vepa will dye my hair today, so that it looks fine again. Now my own color starts to show way too much.

I didn't sleep this morning enough (as I haven't slept all week), everybody just keeps calling and messaging me and I always wake up because of them and can't sleep. On Monday it was Taru, yesterday it was mom and today Tuula. Hope I could sleep late enough tomorrow... Because I can't go bed earlier that 3 am because I'm not tired!

Our cats seem to realize that something's in the air. They come to me all the time, and they usually don't come so often! Last night I almost got my first leaving tear in my eye when we went to bed and chatted about my leaving. So now it starts. I bet I'll cry this night (for some reason I cry more easily at night than at daytime) or tomorrow.

Oh god! I just realized that next night will be my last night in my home for a while... Maybe I should go bed early just to goof around with Tarmo. And try to stay there as long as possible on the morning... Because I just love our bed! It's the best place in the world when Tarmo lies there beside me. And I have to play with our cats the whole night because then it's cool enough and they're active. Now they're just sleeping and trying to find the coolest place in here.

And tomorrow I'll leave to Tampere, we'll see Reija at Matkakeskus and I'll give her my key so that she can take care of our babies for the weekend. I'm a bit sad because I didn't see all my friends before leaving though I still try to keep in mind that half a year goes by quickly.

I think this is the last post I'll write in here for a while, so check out my exchange blog if you're interested how's life going at the other side of the sea. (Feels strange to say that.)

ps. Tarmo gave me the red network cable, I asked if we had one spare for me to take with me, he gave me blue, I asked that didn't we have red one somewhere, it was in use but he replaced it with the blue one so that I could have the red one. I just love that man! He didn't even argue, muaha!

Leaving Party and Butterflies

Omg! I just got a swarm of butterflies into my tummy. I added this counter application to my facebook site and it says 5 days! It can't be!

Yesterday was fun. We jumped again with jump-rope and barbecued and got drunk and went to Rentukka and then back to our place. I also called Jesse and got a good laugh when he asked (and we talked about my thesis) "can I have a testicle cancer in my brains?". I laughed so much!

J-P and Maria are so cute... at the background we're jumping.

Me, Kirsikka and Reija

Me and Kirsikka dancing, after this song Kirsikka bended me back too much and I spilled our drinks over my computer (luckily not over my laptop).

And it's funny, we went to sleep at 4 am which is only hour later than we usually go to sleep! And woke up at noon which is also normal in these days. And I'm not having hang over because I drunk water (about 2 liters) before I went to bed. And that's good.

5 days!!! I can imagine being abroad but I can't imagine traveling alone there... But I can still remember how it was so exciting to travel by train to Tampere and back for the first times. Muaha! Or to Savonlinna and I had to change to bus and I had never traveled there before. It's not that it's not exciting to travel with someone, but alone! I don't know why it's such a big deal. Maybe because I've used to be with Tarmo everywhere I go. Or that I'm not that experienced in traveling and I fear that I get lost (right...) or confused (could happen!) or I get so nervous that I can't speak English (right...) or I miss my flight (so what?) or or... I still know that this will develop me and I want to experience this. But it still scares me.
I know that traveling alone doesn't mean that I won't be social or get company on my way, I know that I will look so frightened that someone more experienced will come and chat with me, muaha! No, I mean that I'm so social that I'll chat with people anyway and that'll relieve my fears. I know that there will be other people who are just in the same situation that I'm in. And it's no point thinking (seriously) what if questions. If something happens then it happens.

I'm not so nervous about actually being at Iowa, not knowing anyone. Well, I almost know someones there. But whole new environment doesn't make me nervous. I know that there are so many other people who I'll meet who are just in the same situation, and I know how to get to the hotel, I'll get my breakfast there on Saturday morning and then my temporary roommate Paola will come and then, then we'll go to check out the city or something. But then I have someone who I can talk with. And it's not that I couldn't go and check out the city by myself but it's the company. And still the airports scare me. Not the flying itself but the airports. All the security checks make me nervous (as they're supposed to do I think) and as being control freak I fear that my tickets are wrong (aren't), my bags include something prohibited (don't), flights will be late (matters only if the flight from Helsinki to Dublin is hours late) or or or... And here I go again.

But still I need to think about these things. I still wait when I'll start crying to Tarmo that I'll miss him, I don't want to leave him and our cats and home, I want him to come with me. The hardest part of this exchange thing is that we'll be separated for four-five months. We're so close to each other and we are used to cuddle, chat and just be with each other every day. We'll still talk to each other every day in the internet but it's not the same. I need comfort and Tarmo gives it to me. But we'll manage. I can only wait the Christmas when he comes there.
And the kitties. I will miss them too, I'm so used to someone soft and warm to curl around my leg or back when I take nap or some black tail to sweep me now and then. Sigh. I will miss my friends and family too. But then again, it's only half a year. It goes by so fast and then I'm suddenly back.

I did this choice to go overseas. I did this choice to miss everyone (not that I could make a choice not to miss anyone, muaha). This is one of my dream come true. Oh I get so excited!

Today is going to be a hang over day though I don't have hang over. This means that I don't need to dress up or go to anywhere. I can just relax. Nice.

100th Post

So this is my 100th post and here's a video I shot last night. It's our little Neko who loves water. I believe I could do this video thing more often.

Relaxing weekend at countryside

Last weekend was great!

Tarmo's mom was here and we gave kitties with her when she left home and went on Thursday to Savonranta. We visited Tarmo's grandparents and went to his cottage. And it was so relaxing! We slept 12 hours, went to sauna and I even jumped into (really cold) lake! We cooked and read books. Next day we went back to Savonranta and came home today. Weather was nice! And kitties enjoyed the countryside too. At least I hope so. Muaha!

The cottage

Lake scenery

We wondered how the kitties let us sleep in peace and this was why. They had found Tarmo's moms threads. It was so nice to roll them back. And of course kitties wanted to help with cleaning!

And I fell in love with Tarmo's moms new kitchen. I love the colors and that thing in the middle! I'm too tired to even think its Finnish name. The bus was hot and noisy and the kitties kept beeping almost all the way home. Or Neko beeped. She was so upset, poor thing. It was too hot to travel for them. But now it's nice to be back home.

And Pollo ate a bee. But luckily it didn't sting him.

And I rally should start to work beginning next week. And I will. I really needed this weekend. Now I'm not so tired of doing all things.

And I realized one thing a while ago. On Spring, when my menstruation wasn't right, I slept all the time. So maybe it was some kind of burn out or a big stress. Though I didn't realize it.

I had funny dream last night. I met (IRL) this girl from Germany who is also coming to Iowa next Fall (I've seen her photo once) and she was with me at Iowa (in the dream now). Iowa was in Helsinki and Tarmo was there too though only one day. I was surprised because I didn't have to share my room with someone else but had my own room. There was a bed and some chair but our desks were at living room (and they were way too small). We lived next to a monastery where we could rent a bike and there was a library too.

The monastery came to my dream because we went to Valamo's monastery on Saturday. It was a beautiful place but there wasn't anything more. But it was nice to sit in the car while Tarmo drove. I've always enjoyed traveling in a car. And traveling as it self.

But I'm too tired to write anything more. Not that much anything else had happened. Muaha!

Fun Times

So, long time no see.

The courses are over and report has been written. We still hope that we won't get it back all underlined with red. And I got tired with my cells and threw all them away. Not really. Though I did throw them away. But it was just because they started to look bad and I'll get new cells next week for my Masters Thesis. And I tried to look today my latest apoptosis experiments results but fucking fuck! They were still all fucked up. Background was awful, I could hardly see the stained nucleus! We finally concluded that it must be the coverslips. And so I'll do the experiments again. For a third time. Fuck! But this time with new cells. It started to piss me off that the old cells started to look bad and though I had separated the different morphologies they started to look wrong. I know what I blame or what I think is the reason. One is that I've used one sucking pipette for all cell types, one is the rush I've had (so I haven't concentrated well) and one reason I won't say.

So, we had a meeting today and discussed several hours about my coming experiments. I will be really busy. I've already abandoned my plans to get the thesis done before going to US. But of course I'll do as much as I can. I try to do the experiments so that I'd only need to write and read. I also abandoned my plans for vacation. No time for such. Maybe after few years. Muaha.

I was in Helsinki last Friday too at a meeting. It was fine a and fun. A gay guy (I mean it, he must have been gay!) slapped me at my butt and said "sorry" with a most gay voice I've ever heard. And he had this white jacket and brown golfers gloves (yes, gloves!) and his hair up and sun glasses. He was so in! Like right from some cover. But I just couldn't stop laughing. And he was with two girls. Can't understand. But it was so funny. And when I came home at night some other guy tried to be so charming and he just didn't success in it that I felt sorry for him. When the train came he opened the door and bowed and said "ladies first" but didn't realize that there were people coming out. So cute! But when I stepped in I thanked of course.

What else... We just came from grilling. We took kitties out again and they were so much braver than last time. We took a long trip with them (well went where they wanted). And now they're so tired! Should sleep well all night!

And Saana is here! So nice! She'll be here at least until tomorrow.

Oh I went yesterday to gym with Tarmo at morning and on afternoon to body and my muscles are acing so much! We'll go to gym again tomorrow. I try to lose some weight (very little though) and to get my tummy at least a bit smaller. Summer is coming and I realized how big it has grown! But it's nice to know I've done something. And it's good that I got Tarmo with me there.

And oh! I almost forgot! We had this course ending party and I got SO drunk! But it was SO fun! Here's some pics.

Reija and Me

Me laughing and and actually not posing.

Course mates. (Riikka is taking the pic.)

Tarmo and Riikka.

We actually found out that they might be relatives. Funny!

This is how drunk I was. I spilled Mikkos beer on my lap. All of them.

This is also one proof that I had few too much. Muaha!

What you mean by me posing? And Sira. Also drunk.

And that's all folks!

Still cold

So, it was kind of cold today. But I put enough clothes on so I was fine. It was hard to bike (it just didn't go forward) but it was still better way to go to the university and back home. But I don't want to go outside anymore today. It was THAT cold.

But you never believe what our kitties had done during the night!! They had eaten my bananas! MY BANANAS! Actually they didn't eat them but they had peeled one of them (and the banana was still one nice banana) and the other had been bitten and played with. So I couldn't eat them anymore. But it was funny. I can't even imagine how they managed to peel the banana so cleanly!

And by the way, the kitties feel fine. They're just like before. No more poor kitties.

And about last weekend. It was fun and I got so much out of it. Mostly we discussed about Heidi's work but we thought some things I would start to do too. And I surprised Jaska too. I didn't realize that it was the medical university we went (Jaska studies there) and while we were drinking coffee in he cafeteria I saw Jaska and went to say hello. And we saw again on Saturday when we went to the MM-Kyykkä. It was fun there too. We went there at 9 am and started to "celebrate" right away. I saw Riina there too and we hanged with her and her friends there. Then we found Jaska and hanged with him and his friends. And then me and Tarmo went to see my brother and his family and after that one of my friends had a party and we went there. And finally we were back at my parents house at midnight.

Me and Riina
Tarmo and me

Some doctor guys (Jaska behind me) and me
(Can't remember the other two names)

And on Sunday we woke up early (we slept in the living room so the kitties were with us and got all wild at 7am). And we were back home at 4pm. And I learned all the 20 normal amino acids while sitting in the train (when we went and when we came back). And the test was on Tuesday (not on Monday as I thought). And it went well. And I got 4 of the neurobiology exam!
I'm starting to be smart again. Maybe it's because I now have the time to study well.
I'll have another exam on Monday. And then I'll have a laboratory course (electron microscopy). I thought that it would be cool if me and my partner (Reija) could do some brain slices there (we'll do some specimens there, but not about the brain). So I went to the supervisor and asked if that could be possible. And it is! No-one in our university knows well how it should be done or what we should see in them but she said we can still try. How awesome! And Tuula praised my idea and the thing that I thought such a thing and went to ask about it. It after all is one aspect of my interests (not that I would do it necessarily in any point of my life) so it's really useful for me to know how these kind of specimens are done.
The only thing is, that because no-one knows about this issue, me and Reija have to do much more work for our things in that course. But I don't mind. At least now. Muaha.

But I have to go back to do dome research for one cource.

Cats already better

I'm so relieved. Neko feels a lot better now. Pollo was already playing on the same day (night) the operation was but Neko was tired still yesterday. Pollo didn't get that Neko didn't want to play with him so we had to put Pollo in the bedroom few times to calm down so that Neko could be in peace. We played also yesterday in our house and Pollo came to sleep on my lap. Cutie. And boys played with him which was good, because Neko could sleep. We put a "socksuit" on Neko, which was first like a diaper because Neko took her front legs away from it. It protected her wound so she or Pollo wouldn't lick it too much.

Poor Neko and the "socksuit"

We put it back on her for the night. On the morning when we woke up (well actually when Pollo came to wake us up) Neko was still having the suit on her, but soon after she took it away. Tarmo thought I had taken it away and I thought Tarmo had taken it away. And now she is playing with Pollo, but luckily she's careful still. She doesn't lick her wound too much (I believe it's so clean and neatly done so she doesn't have to lick it all the time) and neither does Pollo. So we dare to keep her without the suit. But of course we keep our eyes on them all the time.

Here is a picture when they were still sleeping (when they tottered to the bathroom).

Catnest

We'll (hopefully) continue our yesterdays game in noon if Tomppeli just wakes up. He and Apen are allergic to our kitties and took drugs for it yesterday but still both got some symptoms at the evenoig (we had already played several hours no it's no wonder). We cleaned the house today so it would be easier to them to be here today. I still won't let the kitties to be alone too many hours. I have to keep my on them.

And I realized yesterday that I really was panicking on Friday. I forgot our laundry on the machine for the night (which I have never done before) and I forgot to get a packet from the Post office (and I've been waiting that packet for a week). Funny. I thought I was quite normal, only worried about the kitties. Maybe I just focused all my thoughts on them.

Poor babies

Oh my poor kitties! We were in the vet today and we sterilized both of them. And I could be watching the process! It was really nice! The vet told all the time what she was doing and what everything was and in the end she gave me the balls and ovary and some instruments so I could research them closely! So nice! But I didn't dare to watch and cut them too much because the room was needed. But everything went well. Neko threw up and was so ashamed before she fell asleep. Poor thing. And Pollo needed more drugs to fall asleep. And kicked the nurse when she tried to pull Pollo's hairs off from his balls. Muaha.

It took half an hour and we came home right away of course. They woke up for the first time only few moments ago. I heard a thump and run to watch witch of them had wakened. It was Neko and she was lying in the middle of the floor (I put the baskets in the bedroom and put a blanket on them so it would be warmer). I covered Neko with her blanket and Pollo started to wake up also. He started to totter away from the bedroom and I thought he had to pee so I took him to the bathroom. He just wanted to go to sleep in there (we have a floor warmup there) and Neko tried to go there too, so I lifted her too there and took her blanket under her and took Pollo's blanket too, which I put over the poor kitties. (Sentence long enough?)
Neko tried to get on my lap but fell asleep before she could get there. I stroke them for a while to be sure that they both fell asleep. My mother instincts woke up! Tarmo just laughed at me, but also looked me nicely. It felt good. He didn't think that I'm a lunatic women. Muaha! (I am.)

I tried to read for my next exam but I can't concentrate now, I have to watch the kitties. Luckily my table is in such a way so that I can see the kitties all the time. My poor babies <3

But some new information for me! First: I had to give a CV in English and a study plan for Tuula today so that she can put them in the Academy application and maybe get me some money! And reagents and maybe even equipment. And that study plan will also be my Master thesis plan!!! And now to the second thing: Some entrepreneur had called Tuula. He had read my candidate thesis from the internet (I put it in my web pages when it was finished) and was interested about it. His company (I assume so) makes pipes for the water and they had done some analysis what elements and in what concentrations they have found in different areas. And they said that Finland doesn't have any limits for manganese concentrations but WHO has put some limits. And Tuula said that he could be interested ME doing some tests with the manganese and he could pay something for me. And I could also use the information I get to my thesis. Which would be really grate!

But Pollo just woke up, threw up under Tarmo's desk and peed in the kitchen and finally fell asleep again under our chair (I stroke him so he calmed down). He's so poor thing!

Inspiration

Still 50 pages to go. Though I really haven't learned anything from the last chapters but I know coarsely what's in them. Luckily I can have the book with me!

We went to pizza today. It was nice. Then we coated Tarmo's physics books. He could have done it by himself but it was easier end nicer to do it together. And I had nothing else to do anyway. We were supposed to clean today but I'm not inspired at all. Tomorrow we have to clean... There is dirt on the floor! The kitties spread it all over because I gave them grass. So they liked the dirt on it.

We're going to watch Babylon 5 tonight. I haven't ever seen them. And Tarmo has almost all the dvds.

I have to start to eat iron again. I've been tired all the time even though I sleep well.

I was in Bodycircuit with Dooris on Thursday and Saana was there too. It was so nice!

But I'm not inspired about anything right now and I can't keep my thoughts in my head.

Weekend

We had nice weekend. On Friday we had Vepa's birthday and on Saturday Halliz's birthday. Though there was boring so we came to our house to drink a glass of wine. Today was supposed to be Tomppeli's birthday but he's sick.

And Neko has a heat. I first wondered why she's so in need of affection and then I noticed she lifts her tail when I stroke her. Pollo did not get what was happening until today. He has tried to mate with her today, but luckily she doesn't allow him to do it. We have to watch them all the time. We are going to sterilize both of them in the end of this month. Hope that her heat will go over soon and that Pollo won't succeed. If it looks bad, we have to separate them in to different rooms and that won't be nice. Our bedroom is too small for a cat.

I went to barber on Friday and got myself bangs. I swore ten years ago that I won't do it never ever again since my mom always got it for me and I hated it. I've been secretly wishing it for a while now. But it's not a real bangs, it's that kind that I can get it to side and away from my eyes.

And Vepa cut my hair a bit more since the barber didn't do as much cutting as I hopes and I didn't realize it then. But I like my hair now.

I'm hungry so I'm going to eat food and watch Friends. I bought the 7th season for us.

And still 450 pages to go and a week time to read it.

New Year

Now, it's 2007. In case you didn't know that.

We had a nice party at Lillukka, a place we rented. We made food and some of it wasn't eaten (though there were almost ten eaters). After that we sang Singstars and Sami had bought a new game for it which had Finnish songs. I sang PMMP´s Pikkuveli and it was really nice. We sang a lot with Vepa and I even sang songs that don't fit to my voice. I can't sing songs that go too low. My voice doesn't reach there.
But still, I won't sing karaoke in front of too many people. I'm too ashamed.

Before

After

Actually there was two times more of them that it shows in here. (And the kettle was full.) And we spent two liters oil. Yum.

I was too slow to renew my book loan. So now i have to return my neurobiology book next week and I have the exam week after that! And I need the book there (since it can be with me). But I booked other book. The same book but from the main library. I hope I get that day before I have to return this book. I can have that book only two weeks but it's enough. Hope the person who has it now won't be asshole and keep it too long. Though one have to pay if one keeps the books over time but still it happens. Though not very often.
Still 700 pages to go.

I cleaned our toiled today, I washed it throughout. There was a lot of kitten hair there. I've always wondered where it all goes since we don't have kitten hair all over. I also washed the dishes (though I've said to Tarmo that my hands are in bad shape so I don't wash them eagerly). But there was a lot of them and Tarmo went to university today and I hate complaining so I put gloves and did them my self. And it's not that big deal. He vacuumed when he came home.

The kitties are so cute (yes, still). They always run under the bedspread and only one can is one big clump shivering. And when I read they always come to look me and purr and aww aww. But I'll go and do something if Tarmo would think something to do. I'm too tired to read anymore, maybe I'll play Sims. I'm too addicted to it.

Before christmas

I passed all the courses I had this year! Yeah!
And I've lost my mind with this exhange thing. ISEP was supposed to inform yesterday in which universities one can apply but there is still nothing! And today I finally got logged in in the TOEFL pages. I've been trying it for two weeks but their pages haven't been working quite right. But I confirmed myself that I really have that exam next month and finally watched the introduction video (I tried to look it yesterday but it didn't work). So now I just have to hope that the pages will accept my login information. Even though I wrote everything right, the pages said I had wrong password or name.

I'll go tomorrow to Tampere and will be there for one week. "On vacation". I have to read a bit there too. I started to read yesterday and have read already almost 150 pages. Luckily some of the issues are already familiar to me (basic cellbiology) so I know it already. So I don't need to read that like a new thing.

Tomorrow I'll do some laundry and clean this place and read a bit. And I have to go to bank and to get my passport images and maybe do the passport application. I already got Tuula and Elina to write me a reference.

Boys are playing some multiplayer game and I can hear everything they say. Boys are always boys. Swearing and laughing and when I got some glögi to Tarmo, he had to inform all the others I brought it to him. Muaha. Funny.

I had a dream last night that I was on my way to the airport. I had forgotten my biology dictionary home and felt bad about it. But I had remembered to take the neurobiology book (which isn't mine really).

The kitties are cute. Pollo slept an hour on my lap. The also played near me when I was reading and almost behaved. They always come to sit on my books and notes and try to play with my pens.

Oh I forgot. I was supposed to et my packbag. Well, maybe I'll get it now or tomorrow. I have time now so...

My thoughts aren't clear and I can't think anything so I'll go and get my bag.

Empty

I've done nothing. I started to read a bit but promised myself that if I do nothing (that is play sims2) I must take the books to Tampere. So I'll start to read tomorrow.
So I've been playing Sims2. Tarmo got me most of the expansion packs. It has been nice.

Yesterday night I made that my article though. Or finished it. Now I don't have to worry about it anymore.

Tomorrow is the ISEP meeting.

My head is empty and I'm tired. Kitties woke us up at 8 am.

Lazy day

Oh it was fun yesterday. The wine was bad but it was ok. I mean it was ok to me that I didn't got drunk. I had nice time, I helped with the food and drinking, played a bit and got to know new people. Well new and new, I've "seen" all of them in the irc, but not irl. We came home at one am. Food was nice (though not as good as mom-made).
The kitties woke us up at eight. We watched some mythbusters and did nothing. After Tarmos computer crashed I cleaned the toilet and did some rearrangements to his chilis. The kitties have learned to jump on them so we had to move them to the shelves. Tarmo might do some aquarium to the veggies if he can and when he has time. But that's all we did today. Expect took naps.

The TOEFL hadn't been gone right so I had to register there again. This time I did it in internet. I don't get it why we were told to call there. It went easier this way and it doesn't cost anything. But it really doesn't mind me so much. I proved myself that I can speak English understandable. I also registered to all the universities I'm going to try to apply. The Kilroys pages aren't working so I couldn't look what the flight to USA would cost. I've already looked some flights but my aunt said it cost too mutch so I'll look it again. Or would've looked. Or maybe I'll do it now.

Muaha our kitties are so stupid! I put some cacti there where the chilis used to be. They just dropped one of them and ate it! And we thought that if they sting their nose to it they'll leave all the veggies alone! Funny. But maybe we have to put even the cacti somewhere else.

The clock is a lot! But I'm not tired. Maybe I should try to look the flights again. I'll have to read tomorrow. I'll have (hopefully) my last exam on Monday. I don't have any motivation anymore. Luckily the vacation starts soon. Though I'll do an bookexam right when the schools start again, but I'll take some days just to myself and do the christmas cleaning here.

YEAH!

I got there! I GOT THERE!!!! I'm going to USA next fall!!!! Amazing! I'm so excited! Goodbye concentration to reading to the last exams! (I'll have two next thursday and I haven't even started) I'm so EXCITED! YEAH!

We just had a nice girls evening, we ate a lot and talked more. It was fun. We watched Riikkas photos from Toronto and I got this feeling that Me wanna too! And now I can go there! YEAH!

I was really tired and planned to go to sleep but then I read my emails and now I'm not so tired anymore. I called immediately to mom and she said I must be drunk when I just screamed to phone. But I'm not, I'm excited! YEAH!

I have to go to surf on Kansas University's webpages and then go to sleep. I have to read tomorrow. We'll bake some cookies too, since it's our independece day tomorrow. YEAH!

Oh, I almost forgot, we were at the vet today. It went fine. The kitties got vaccinated and we planned that the kitties will get the another vaccination next year in the beginning of February and they will be castrated also then. We'll save about 40 euros becouse we get all that on same clinic payment. But no I'll go to surf! YEAH!

Busy

Been busy though I did nothing, just NOTHING last weekend. An on saturday, I didn't even change my nighties! It was awesome! Can't remember when I had done that last time. Me and my mom jused to call those days as "pupelipäivä".
We haven't got our results for the last exam we had. She has been cheked them already but I'm too afraid to go and ask the results. I fear I might be disappointed.
Two weeks. Two weeks. And then all my exams for this year will be over. Can't wait!
My computer is falling apart. Not really but it keeps crashing if I play The Sims 2. And it hasn't done that before. And the guarantee went four days ago. I still emailed to the shop and asked if they still could do something for this.
I just noticed that it's really easy to write in english and think in english. Eeek! I try not to think the exhange thing. I saw a commercial abou a women who was flying to somewhere (a deodorant commercial) and every time I see that, I think about the Big Flight I might experience next year.
Our kitties are cuties. We should vaccinate them soon. I'll call to the vet tomorrow. But the 4D begins. There's something about a boy who beats his mom.

ps. I love Tarmo.

Lazy weekend

I didn't do half the things I was supposed to do. I wrote the essay for swedish (or read it through) and went through some grammar for it. I also tried to do a linetest but I didn't understand it, and was too lazy to find out more. I also started to find something for another essay but didn't have the energy or will to do anything more. Today I've just watched Tarmo playing. I also cleaned the toilet and washed the diches.
We ordered food from Banthai. We were supposed to go there today but it snowed and I didn't feel like going outside. So we ordered food home there and it was good! As always. And we saved few euros since it's cheaper to eat home. And the delivery was free too (since we ordered enough food). But now I feel better. I feel like I could read again. I'd have an exam tomorrow but I haven't even started to read for it. So I'll go to next exam. We should do a seminar next week for culturing course. And maybe start a bit for the swedish presentation too.
Mom promised they would buy me a new chair for christmaspresent. I already found one. 40€ in Sotka, half of the price. I should get it some day. But I need car for that and no-one of Tarmo's friends had a car this weekend. So maybe next week or weekend. Hopefully. They have red chairs there and I want it!
Kitties are sleeping again. Pollo came again to sleep on my lap. And Neko falled to toilet today! It was funny. We just heard a splash and Neko run away from toilet and her backlegs were all wet. We usually keep the lid down but now we had forgotten it open. Glad we were home and she got out on herself.
My thoughts have again been in USA. Or in exhanging. Few weeks and I get to know if I can go to Kansas! I would love to go there! They have so much interesting courses there and they aren't in medical school. I've been thinking the living there. And I fear already the flight to there! Not the flight it self but when I get to USA I fear that they think I'm some kind of terrorist and examine my stuff and I'll miss my another flight to Kansas or something. I fear that I'll be left alone somewhere. I know this is silly and I shouldn't think such things. But I can't help it! It'll go all right and I'll be fine and get to Kansas without big problems. I'm just so exited if I have to travell all alone for the first time abroad.
But it isn't this days worry. I'll panic when I have to do so. Muaha.

Head hurts

Oh my head hurts so bad. Can't remember when it has been this bad. And it's cold in here.
I went to get my answers of the failure-exam. The teachers had lost the molecular part of it. And of the cellular part, I got full points! They found my other paper just before my lections started. I had been misthinking. A lot of fool mistakes! And the teachers said I had assumed too much. I didn't explain enough. So I didn't get any points though I had something right. That sucks. But I have read all about the course, and even well. Hope that is enough.
I was differetieting the SH-SY5Y (now I can write it right) cells today. And tomorrow we'll look the cells with the patch clamp equipment. And on friday I'll subculture the cells on my own! And on monday I'll infect the cells with parvo viruses with Kirsi. Exiting! And next week I'll stain the cells and do some microscoping. Luckily Reija will come to help me a bit. I have to count the cells and see where the viruses have gone and take some pictures.
I got my bike yesterday and it's so much easier to drive now though the snow is melting away now. And it sucks to drive in this weather, I can't control the bike. It's kind of scary. But it would suck more to walk to university.
I stayed home today until midday. I read and made some food. Tomorrow I'll do the same. Kitties were crazy. It was fun to play with my pen while I was writing! I gave them a straw and they were happy.
But my head hurts so bad that I have to go to lie down and maybe to sleep. I was too tired this morning.
